This product is a pair of bearings to suit our reformer wheels. Each wheel requires two bearings. Should it eventuate that one wheel is no longer smooth in operation, you can replace the bearings to restore the original operation.

NOTE: Before buying, please make sure the uneven ride is the result of bearing failure. To do this, you carefully lift the carriage and feel by hand the operation of each wheel. The wheel should remain firmly inline during operation, with no sideways motion. They should roll with no noticeable deflection, and should be silent in operation.

A secondary cause to uneven ride is grim build up. Just like that of the grime build up under a PC mouse, you can experience grim build up on your carriage tracks and wheels. Using a light detergent, clean rails and wheel surfaces thoroughly. Run you finger over rail surfaces to be sure they are smooth. Then recheck performance.
